This piece was inspired by a trip to Hawaii last year. I used a palette knife to paint this piece and it has an actual sand feel to the beach. Vibrant tones of turquoise, deep blue and sea foam green have been used. I used pearlized paint for the white caps of the waves which gives the tips of the waves a shine. Lots of wave movement.
